France 24, encore et toujours

Incroyable! En regardant la rubrique news du menu du satellite, je me suis rendu compte que je recevais France 24. J'ai donc regardé de près la chaine d'infos internationale voulue par notre président vénérable et vénéré.

Déjà, c'est tout en anglais. Le présentateur est français, avec un bon accent. Ensuite, les news sont assez génériques, avec cependant un centrage sur les économies européennes et américaines (par exemple, un long reportage sur les restructurations chez Airbus). Enfin, histoire de meubler entre les news (lesquelles ont quand même tendance à se répéter), il y a quelques reportages "exotiques" manifestement achetés clés en main. Et, surtout, la météo à travers le globe!


France 24 for ever!

Incredible! Looking into the "News" category of the satellite menu, I discovered that I was receiving France 24. I jumped on the occasion to have a closer look at this international news channel, wanted by our beloved president.

First, it's all in English. The newscaster is French, with a reasonable accent. Second, the news are quite generic, nevertheless with a closer look at European and American economies (for example, a long report on reorganizations at Airbus). Then, so that they can fill the blanks between the news (that tend to repeat themselves), there are a few exotic chronicles, apparently bought as is by the channel. And, of course, the weather forecast!
