Deezer bientôt en version 3

Je me dirigeais tranquillement vers ma playlist "bourrin", lorsque je vis un lien vers la (beta?) version 3 de Deezer. N'écoutant que mon courage, je m'y plongeai pour voir un peu ce qu'ils nous ont inventé.

Passé le choc de l'interface toute blanche cédant à l'interface précédente toute noire, je dois avouer que je suis agréablement surpris par la qualité du bazar.

Tout d'abord, la section "musique", la plus importante, est bien plus grande: le lecteur en haut, les playlist (et les albums favoris!) sur la droite, et la playlist en plein milieu, qui peut enfin prendre son aise.

Lorsque l'on navigue dans les autres sections, le lecteur se replie intelligemment pour laisser plus de place au contenu (que je ne regarde pas forcément, d'ailleurs, mais je salue l'idée).

Le lecteur permet maintenant de contrôler l'équalisation et la durée du fondu sonore, ce qui est bien vu puisque l'ancien avait la fâcheuse habitude de me bouffer la fin de tous mes morceaux. Il semble également plus facile de chopper un lien et de partager une chanson à travers Google, Facebook et consorts.

Étrangement, toutes les chansons ne semblent pas être disponibles sous la nouvelle interface, les deux tiers apparaissent grisées. Je m'en reviens donc vers la vieille interface pour écouter Deeper Underground, mais j'attends tranquillement la mise en production du nouveau site!




Deezer soon in version 3

I was going toward my coding playlist, when I saw a link to the version 3 (in beta?). Full of courage, I dived in to see a bit what they wanted to bring us.

After the shock of going from an all-black interface to an all-white one, I have to admit that I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the general stuff.

First, the "Music" section (the most important, obviously!) is much bigger. The player is on the top, the playlist (and favourite albums!) on the right, and the playlist well in the middle, finally able to expand as it wants.

When navigating onto other sections, the reader folds cleverly to leave more space to the content (in which I am not necessarily interested, but I have to applaud the idea).

The reader now allows to control the equalisation and the fade in / fade out duration. That is another good idea, as I am tired of the old-style reader systematically killing the end of my songs. It seems also easier to share either by copying the link of through Facebook, Google and friends.

Strangely, all songs are not available yet, as about two third of them appear grayed out. I will therefore still use the interface for the time being, so as to be able to listen to Deeper Underground, but I am happily awaiting the new interface!
