La Banque nous a fourni une adresse internet renvoyant vers une pauvre animation flash montant quelques flocons et un slogan insipide, à mettre dans les e-mails de "voeux saisonniers". La carte est bien entendu un trésor de politiquement correct: rien pour rappeler Noël, aucune représentation quelconque d'êtres humains, de lieu, juste un peu de neige (et encore, les pays du Sud pourraient se sentir offensés que l'on associe la fin de l'année à l'hiver). Si ça n'avait tenu qu'à moi, j'aurais mis un père Noël rigolard montrant ses fesses sur lesquelles seraient tatoués les portrait d'Élisabeth et de Washington, tels qu'ils apparaissent sur les biffetons de leurs pays respectifs. Ça aurait de la gueule, pour une banque, non?


The Bank gave us an internet address to a cheap looking flash animation depicting a few snow flakes and a boring motto, to put inside our "seasonal wishes" e-mails. The card is of course a treasure of political correctness: nothing to reference Christmas, no representation of any human beings, just a bit of snow (and yet, southern countries could feel offended that we associate the end of year with the Winter). If it had been for me, I would have put a laughing Santa Claus showing his bottom on which the portraits of Elizabeth and Washington would have been tattooed as on the banknotes of their respective countries. For a bank, it would have been pretty cool, isn't it?
