Ballade très sympa Dimanche dernier à travers le vert Surrey. Partis de Guildford, nous avons crapahuté à travers les collines jusqu'au village de Bookham, en passant par les vignobles de Denbies, qui sont les plus grands du Royaume-Uni.
Very nice walk last Sunday through green Surrey. Starting from Guildford, we went through the hills up to the village of Bookham, going through the Denbies vineyards, the largest in the UK.
Passage tout d'abord par les brumes matinales du Wey, puis par une section bien plus ensoleillée un peu plus en altitude.
First steps through the morning mist over the Wey, followed by a very sunny section a bit higher in altitude.
Enfin, l'arrivée au vignoble! Les vignes sont un peu à poil en cette saison, mais les paysage est saisissant. Un peu plus loin, l'on découvre que Londres est bien visible depuis Bookham (30 kilomètres quand même!). Le Shard, en particulier, ressort bien.
At last, the vineyard! The trees look a bit naked in this season, but the landscape is striking. A bit further, we discovered that London was well visible from Bookham (distant from about 30 kilometers!). The Shard, in particular, looks pretty good from there.
